Dorchester Sports 'must be physical' when they take on Westland Sports in the Dorset Premier League this weekend.

Sports' manager Ashley James has been speaking ahead of his side's trip to Alvington playing fields as his side looked to regain their momentum at the top of the league.

A disappointing 4-1 defeat last time out to Bournemouth Sports ended Dorchester's 100 per cent record, and once again they come against one of the league's other in form teams.

Westlands are level on points with Dorchester and sit second courtesy of a slightly superior goal difference.

James told Echosport: "It is going to be a difficult away game, they are a big physical side and if we want to get anything from the game we must be physical.

"We didn't do that against Bournemouth so we will be looking to do that on Saturday.

"We just want to keep going game by game, we were disappointed with last Saturday but we have trained well this week and we had a good chat about what went wrong.

"We will have to be at our best if we want anything out of the game."

The team are still going to be without several players though for the trip up to Yeovil as Brandon Heel, Darren Watts and Liam are all still sidelined.

However, James was pleased that Sam Duncalf would return this weekend after admitting the team 'missed' the keeper who is standing in for Nick Hutchings who is still out with a chest injury.

Another player who will not play this weekend is midfield maestro Owen Peart.

The goal scoring midfielder is unavailable for the trip to Somerset despite making a return from injury last week.

Kick off at Alvington playing fields is at 3pm on Saturday, September 7.
