Tom Killick has said that his Magpies side 'need to be better' if they are to get anything out of this weekend's game with Frome.

Dorchester Town face the Robins at the Avenue on Saturday (3pm) as the attention turns back to the Southern League for Killick's side.

Frome sit 19th in the table ahead of the clash having picked up just four points from their opening five games which has included three losses.

However, the Somerset-based club come into the tie after a 2-1 win over Eastington Sports in an FA Cup replay midweek.

Last weekend's performance in the FA Cup defeat to Banbury was labelled as 'inadequate' by the Magpies boss though, and knows his team will have to play better if they hope to get a result on Saturday.

Speaking to Echosport ahead of the game, he said: "If we play like we did against Banbury, or Winchester we get beat - never mind what they will offer we need to be better to win the game.

"Frome will be really motivated and will be committed and if we are not better than we have been in the last couple of games it will be difficult.

"It shifts the focus onto us and we have to be better."

In terms of team news for the game with Frome, Killick has a full squad to pick from, with the exception of long term injury absentee Harry Redknapp Jnr.

The Magpies boss was also pleased that Will Spetch was able to serve out his ban against Banbury, after receiving two yellow cards against Gloucester, and will return to the squad on Saturday."

Kick off at The Avenue is at 3pm on Saturday, September 7.
