Portland United has announced that manager Kyle Critchell has stepped down from his role at the club.
Critchell's assistant Jamie Symes has also stepped down from his role with the pair citing reasons 'outside of football' as for their departure.
He said: "We are at a point where mentally and physically and emotionally we have put everything into club but we will be standing down.
"Thank you to the committee and the players, we have been on an amazing journey and its been a fantastic opportunity."
During Critchell's tenure at the club he oversaw 73 games, winning 34 with a total of 124 goals and took the club to the brink of the players last season.
The club's chairman, Matt Lucas, has said that they are 'disappointed' with the decision but will 'honour it' and thanked both Critchell and Symes for their hard work
Lucas also confirmed that the club will be appointing a new manager from within the club and that they will announce a new manger soon.
