Weymouth boss Mark Molesley says his team will 'have to adapt' after losing yet another player to injury.

Malachi Linton was pulled off after 25 minutes during the latest defeat to Slough on Saturday and it has been confirmed the striker will miss around a month after picking up a hamstring injury.

The striker who was brough in in the summer joins the likes of Brandon Goodship, Keelan O'Connell and Ben Greenwood on the treatment table.

With the Terras injury list mounting, Molelsey has admitted that the team will need to find a way to win games outside of their current philosophy.

Speaking to Echosport, he said: "We are going to have to adapt our model with the players we have missing and the situation we are in.

"We will have to adapt slightly and we will need to be pragmatic and find a way of winning when we are hurting and find a way to win."

The Terras manager says that his team is going through a 'painful period' and that his team will 'need to fight' as they continue their search for their first points of the season.

Molesley insisted that the injury crisis his side is facing is 'no excuse' for the current bad form but admitted the team are looking at bringing in some new faces to help.

He added: "There have been lots on injuries in a concentrated period of games, but we are looking to bring in one or two bodies to help.

"We are all working hard behind the scenes but tough times done't last, tough people do.

"We need the momentum to swing and get some more players back  and not loose anymore."
