WIMBORNE TOWN RESERVES 3
BALTI SPORTS 4
Balti Sports came back from two goals down to win in the last minute in a seven goal thriller at the New Cuthbury.
The away side looked destined for defeat with twenty minutes to go but Balti stormed back to score three goals without response in an action packed second half.
The Magpies started well and took the the lead through Declan Mussendo, who smashed his effort into the roof of the net after fifteen minutes.
Despite carving out a few chances, the host were unable to extend their lead and Balti grew into the game as the half went on.
After the break Wimborne extended their lead with Mussendo grabbing his second of the day before Balti pulled one back via a brilliant finish from Louis Gear.
However, the Magpies would soon restore their two goal advantage thanks to Callum Clarke's brilliant free kick.
With 20 minutes remaining, Wimborne seemed in control and heading towards their first win of the season, however, Balti were not done yet.
Quick fire goals from Charlie Mussendon and Harry Weaver saw the away side get back on level terms before Henri Cox snatched victory for Marquis' side with an 89th minute header to complete the comeback.
Speaking to Echosport after the win, Marquis said: "When our defenders worked out how they were playing we turned it around - the second half we were in full control.
"Another win is great and it puts us up to mid table and we will see where we go.
"We are improving and the players are taking on the coaching and patterns of play."
The win lifts Balti up to 9th with seven points from six games in the Dorset Premier League.
