Weymouth travel to Boreham Wood in the National League on Saturday (August 24).

The 3pm kick off will see Mark Molesley's side go in search of their first win of the season after three straight defeats.

The Terras have so far faced Tonbridge, Hemel Hempstead and Chippenham but have yet to secure any points so far and sit at the bottom of the table.

Moleslsey's side have been unlucky so far this season with disallowed goals and several chances hitting the woodwork.

The team has also been plagued by injuries and is still trying to get many of their experienced squad players back to full match fitness.

When asked about how the team will prepare for Saturday's game after the defeat to Chippenham, Molesley told the club's social media channels: "We hope the physio can work his magic this week and we look forward to going to Boreham Wood and keep growing as a group.

"The lads have given everything they are out on their feet we worked players as hard as we could in pre-season but we just have players who arn't quite ready through lack of training and previous match experinec for a while.

"We have to get that balance right with working and getting better  but then resting and recovering becasue that is the tricky bit.

"I just want to be out on the training pitch with these lads every day but the games are coming thck and fast so there will be a combination of rest and recouperation."

Saturday's opposition have started the new campaign well having won twice and drawn once.

Boreham will be fancied as one of the league's favourites for promotion after being relegated from the National League last season.

Boreham Wood sit third in the table and will come into the game filled with confidence after having not yet lost a game.

Lee Ndlovu will be one for Molesley's side to watch having netted twice in the the Wood's 2-1 win over Chesham last weekend.

In terms of team news, Keelan O'Connell and Ben Greenwood remain doubtful with a hamstring strain and damaged cheekbone respectively.

Francis Amartey is also a player whose fitness is a doubt after injuring himself in the warm up against Chippenham in midweek.

However, the game should be another opportunity to get minutes into the legs of players such as Calvin Brooks, Andreas Robinson and Brandon Goodship.

Kick off at Meadow Park is at 3pm on Saturday, August 24
