Balti Sports earned their first three points of the season in a commanding win over Bridport Reserves.

In another action packed match at the Weymouth College Sports Centre, Balti took advantage of individual errors as they raced into a three goal lead.

However, Rob Marquis side were pulled back to 3-2 in an action packed first half in the Dorset Premier League.

Ethan Clark started the scoring after pouncing on a loose ball after three Bees defenders left the ball allowing the Balti man to tuck the ball home from the edge of the box.

Balti then capitalised on more indecisions all over the pitch from Bridport as they raced into what seemed like an unassailable lead with a further two goals.

But much like the weekend game with Blandford, Balti allowed the opposition to get back into the game.

A strike from the edge of the area by Gareth Will and a converted penalty by Josh Baker pulled Bridport back into the game.

The Bees had a couple of golden opportunities of their own to equalise but were unable to take them prior to half time.

The anticipated come back from Bridport in the second half never materialised and Balti where able to pull away.

Sports caught the Bees sleeping with another long ball and the game was over by the time the home side added their fifth of the evening.

Speaking to Echosport after the game, Marquis said: "It's another step forward.

"We scored five but we probably gave away a couple of goals that ideally we wouldn't of .

"But to be fair it wasn't a bad Bridport side, there were some good players in there. I knew a few of them from when I was there they were not a bad outfit.

"I thought we played quite well and I am quite pleased."
