Weymouth boss Mark Molesley believes the club will start winning soon after a third straight defeat.

The Terras lost 2-0 to Chippenham on Tuesday night and Molesley has said the team is just going through 'one of those moments'.

Plenty of chances were created at the Bob Lucas, and with some more clinical finishing, that 'elusive' win is just around the corner according to the Weymouth manager.

Speaking to Echosport, he said : "We had one those evenings that anything that could go wrong did go wrong on the night.

"I was really pleased with the performance and the reaction from the players who worked really hard and we are just having one of those moments in time that anything we do wrong is ending up in the back of the net.

"Sometimes you are not always punished so ruthlessly but we are just having one of those spells where we are getting punished and we are not quite punishing the other team.

"That's the nature of the game but if we look at the cold hard facts did we create enough chances on the night, yes, did we have enough of the ball, yes and are there things we can improve on, yes.

"Overall we did more than enough to get something out of the game.

He added: "Unfortunately we did not come away with anything but there were positive signs we are still trying to get up and running and we need that elusive win to lift the mood and build the confidence and if we keep performing like that that win is not far away."
