Balti Sports joint-manager Rob Marquis has said 'naive errors' cost his side victory against Blandford at the weekend.
Marquis' side found themselves 4-3 up in a crazy first half at the Weymouth College Sports Centre but were unable to secure the three points, losing 5-4.
The Balti boss was left frustrated by the result having felt his side deserved to win against a strong Blandford side.
Speaking to Echosport, he said: "In my experience, if you score four at home you don't expect to lose.
"Some of our defending was questionable at times.
"We weren't at the races at times and stood off them a little and we could have done better."
"It was naive errors and not switching on we will work on it though."
The Balti coach was pleased with his sides effort in front of goal having failed to score in their opening two games.
He added: "We scored good goals.
"A lot of teams want to play out from the back and it's a dangerous game so we played a high press and they made mistakes.
"That's how we got the first goal, by being proactive and that's why we did well.
"It won't work all the time and people won't like our direct style, but that is how we are going about it this season."
