Dorchester Sports boss Ashley James has called Dylan Ellis 'unbelievable' after scoring a second half hat trick against Balti Sports.
James' side came out of the derby game on top with a dominating 5-0 win at the Avenue and the Dorchester manager was full of praise for his young midfielder.'
Speaking to Echosport, he said: "He was unbelievable, he has been brilliant and man of the match in our first two games of the season.
"He was not always in the starting eleven last season and he has worked hard to cement his place in the side.
"He has scored and assisted in both games so far and his all round game is positive and he is in good form.
With midfielder Owen Peart, who scored 25 goals for Sports last season still out, the Dorchester boss is pleased that Ellis is 'stepping up' and taking on that goal scoring responsibility.
He added: "If he can keep scoring goals in midfield it will be good, Dylan is stepping up with Owen out."
James was also 'pleased' with how the team has started the new season and currently find themselves top of the league after two games.
He continued: "We have started the season well and every player is playing with confidence it could have been double figures against Balti.
"From our work in pre-season and now scoring eight in two games long may it continue."
