Weymouth boss Mark Molesley says tomorrow's final pre-season game against Dorchester will be a 'dress rehearsal' for the forthcoming season (3pm).

The Terras have had a strong pre-season with just one defeat coming at the hands of AFC Bournemouth's under-21 side last weekend.

Molesley's side now turn their attention to their final game of the pre-season schedule as Tom Killick's Magpies visit the Bob Lucas.

The Magpies have been on an impressive run of form themselves having won four out of their five friendlies, the 2-1 defeat to Larkhall on Tuesday ending their 100 per cent record.

Speaking ahead of the game, Molesley said: "It will certainly be a tough one.

"We know Tommy's team will be very competitive and they have some really good players, that's why we want that game at the end of pre-season.

"It's going to be a dress rehearsal for the start of the season as we want a team that is as close to what we will face in the National League South - Dorchester are certainly that.

"There is a little bit of extra spice I suppose, being a derby, but we can't get drawn into that.

"We have to continue to build, the result is not the be all and end all for us, although we want to win every game we go into, but we are looking to build on what we have been working on.

"We are not looking to hide from anything, we want to expose any of our weaknesses we might find and if we find them we want to fix them .

"We are also looking to keep building on our strengths as well and a good win and a good performance can build a lot of confidence going into the season."
