Dorchester smashed six past New Forest side Bashley as their strong pre-season form continues.

Two goals from Olaf Koszela on his first appearance of pre-season, along with goals from Wes Fogden, Shaquille Gwengwe, Wayne Robinson and an own goal saw the Magpies maintain a 100 per cent record to pre-season.

It was Fogden who opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with his maiden goal for the club after returning this summer.

The midfielder went through one-on-one with the Bashley keeper before slotting home to put the Magpies in front.

Last season's top scorer Gwengwe doubled the lead 10 minutes later with his second goal in as many games after latching onto Luke Pardoe's through ball.

The host pulled one back late into the first half through Brett Williams' long-range effort meaning Tom Killick's side took a 2-1 lead into the break.

Koszela restored his side's two-goal advantage on the hour mark with the striker marking his return to the side with a shot from the edge of the box.

With the final ten minutes of the game approaching one of Bashley's defenders turned the all into his own net before summer signing Robinson added a fifth just a minute later with a close range finish at the back post.

The scoring was rounded off by Koszela who scored late on to grab his second of the night, this time from close range.

The Magpies are now halfway through their pre-season schedule with three wins out of three.

Next up for Killick's side is a friendly against Bemerton Heath Harlequins at The Avenue on Saturday, July 27.
