KIEFFER Moore has completed a permanent move from Cherries to Sheffield United.

The striker, who spent the second half of last season out on loan at Ipswich Town, helping them to promotion, has joined the Blades on a deal until 2027.

Moore, who joined Cherries from Cardiff City for a reported £3.5million in January 2022, moves to Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee.

Dorchester Town played a part in the Wales international's formative years, scoring seven times in the Conference South in 2013.

After suffering a broken foot on his debut, Moore returned to action to devastating effect towards the end of the 2021-22 season under Scott Parker.

The big striker came off the bench to score twice as Cherries battled back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with Swansea City.

Moore, formerly of Dorchester Town, then scored the famous promotion-winning goal at Vitality Stadium against Nottingham Forest in May 2022.

The Wales international continued his hot streak into the following season, heading home on the opening day of the Premier League campaign, in a win over Aston Villa.

But Moore eventually found game-time hard to come by and leaves having made 46 appearances, scoring 10 goals.

The 31-year-old looked all set to join Hull City last week, only for a late change of heart which has seen him instead link up with Chris Wilder’s Blades, recently relegated from the Premier League.

Upon his exit, Cherries said: “Everyone at AFC Bournemouth wishes Kieffer well for the future.”
