FORMER Dorchester Town and Bridport winger Leighton Thomas has joined Tiverton Town on a permanent deal.
Thomas, 25, links up with the Yellows to play under Leigh Robinson for a second time, having played for Dorchester in the 2020/21 season.
The Cayman Islands international moves to Ladysmead after featuring for Dorchester and Cribbs last season.
His arrival in Devon can also be classed as a return, having spent time on loan with Tivvy from parent club Hungerford in October 2022.

Speaking to Tiverton’s media team, Thomas said: “I played for Leigh about four seasons back at Dorchester.
“I thought he was an ambitious and good guy.
“He knows me as a player and my plan is to go into a team where I know I can be the best I can be, get back to scoring goals and make an impact.”
The 25-year-old, who has already enjoyed one loan spell at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium, joins Yellows after playing for fellow Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South side Dorchester Town and Division One South side Cribbs last season.
Thomas made seven appearances, scoring twice, in his first stint with Tiverton.
He previously netted 31 goals in 36 appearances for Paulton Rovers in the 2021/22 campaign and won the Division One West Golden Boot award.
