FORMER Magpies loanee Tom Purrington has joined Taunton Town after his departure from Plymouth Parkway.
Purrington exited after one season at Bolitho Park, the classy central midfielder having joined from Tiverton Town last summer.
Purrington was in 2019 initially farmed out to Dorchester from Plymouth Argyle for his first taste of senior football.
He went on to impress greatly across two spells, scoring five times in his 60 appearances in black and white.

National League side Bromley came calling in 2020 after Argyle let Purrington leave on a free transfer.
“Thoroughly enjoyed my time at @PlymouthPFC,” Purrington said on X, formerly Twitter.
“Massive thanks to everyone at the club and good luck next season.”
After joining Taunton, he told the Peacocks' official website: “I’m really happy to be a Taunton Town player.
"I can’t wait to play for this great club and to make this season an exciting one. I look forward to seeing all you fans at Wordsworth Drive soon!”
