STRIKER Dan Roberts has announced his departure from Weymouth.
Roberts, based in the south East, scored four goals and provided five assists in 43 matches in claret and blue.
Most notably in his only season at the Bob Lucas Stadium, Roberts scored the winner against arch-rivals Yeovil to end Weymouth’s 35-year wait to beat the Glovers.
Earlier on Friday, Weymouth unveiled Ezio Touray in the number nine shirt worn by Roberts last season, fuelling speculation of a possible exit.

And his departure has transpired as the forward took to social media.
He said: “Thank you @theterras. From the lads to the staff and most importantly the supporters, thank you for the endless support during my time at the club.
"I've loved every minute, especially 'that' goal which I will never forget. Wish you all the best in the future #UTT"
Roberts is the fifth player to leave Weymouth this summer after Teddy Howe, Anthony Cheshire, Joel Rollinson and Tyrique Clarke.
