WEYMOUTH have secured Jordon Thompson for the 2024/25 Vanarama National League South season.
Former Coventry City man Thompson, 25, commits for a second campaign with the Terras after blossoming in the previous term.
The centre-back was one of the strongest-finishing players in the Weymouth ranks, including a notable performance against Yeovil where he nullified a potent Glovers attack.
He will add to 35 appearances in his debut season, in which he started every one of the Terras’ final 12 matches.

In a club statement, the Terras said: “We are delighted to confirm (Jordon) Thompson has committed to The Terras for a further year.
“Since making his debut against Maidstone, (Jordon) has gone on to register 35 appearances so far for the club, (starting) 34 of them having gone on to play every minute of our final 12 games.
“He has become a pivotal part of the defensive group that topped the charts, dubbing itself the best for away defence in the league last campaign.
“He has solidified himself within the squad and fallen in love, like most, with the claret and blue.”
Thompson added: "I am buzzing to be here for another year.
"For the upcoming season I believe as a group we can do something special."
The former QPR youngster, who will hope to improve a disciplinary record complete with two red cards last term, is Weymouth’s second centre-back confirmation of the summer.
He joins fellow defenders Leo Hamblin and Charlie Rowan in committing.
Goalkeeper Gerard Benfield, captain Tom Bearwish, Keelan O’Connell, Josh McQuoid and Brandon Goodship take Weymouth’s summer business to eight players so far.
Four players have so far been confirmed as leaving, with Tyrique Clarke, Anthony Cheshire, Joel Rollinson and Teddy Howe all searching for a new club.
