FORMER Weymouth forward Ahkeem Rose is celebrating promotion with his new club in Scotland.
Rose moved from the Terras to Ayr United in the summer of 2023, having scored 21 times in 63 matches for the Dorset side.
However, after netting only three goals in 19 Ayr games, he dropped one division to Scottish League One side Hamilton Academical on loan.
He responded by firing seven goals in 14 appearances, taking Accies to the play-off final with Inverness.

And, although he was only a late substitute, Rose tasted promotion to the Championship after a 3-2 win.
The Jamaican remains contracted to Ayr, also of the Scottish Championship, for the 2024/25 season.
