THREE Weymouth fixtures have been rearranged for the run-in to the 2023/24 Vanarama National League South season.

The Terras were originally looking for two new dates to accommodate the postponed home game with St Albans City and the trip to Braintree Town.

However, Maidstone United’s remarkable progress to the Emirates FA Cup fifth round and a tie with Coventry City means their home clash with Weymouth on Saturday, February 24 will be moved to Tuesday, April 9.

Weymouth will now host St Albans on Tuesday, February 27 (7.45pm) and embark on the long journey to Essex when Braintree entertain them on Tuesday, March 19 (7.45pm).

So far, Weymouth are accepting the free Saturday this coming weekend.

It means there will only be a seven-day gap between their home meetings with Hampton & Richmond and St Albans on consecutive Tuesdays.
