DORCHESTER Sports can maintain their excellent home form against Dorset Premier League strugglers Sherborne Town Reserves tomorrow (2pm).
Ashley James’ men thumped the Zebras’ second string 10-0 in 2023, coming after a 4-1 win in 2022.
And Sherborne have gone winless at the Avenue Stadium since December 2018, when the Raleigh Grove outfit recorded a 3-0 victory.
However, with Sports in eighth and Sherborne a distant 15th having won only once in 17 games, the odds are stacked in the hosts’ favour.
James told Echosport: “You never know, we normally do pretty well against Sherborne at home.

“We’ve got them back-to-back now. This week at home, next week away.
“We’ll be looking to get a positive result at home and then that will give us a good head start going into the following game the week after.
“We’re in good form so we expect hopefully another three points.”
There is also good news on the injury front for Sports, with Owen Peart (hip) and Todd Coombs (ankle) are back in training.
James added: “Owen and Todd both trained, Nick Hutchings is back, Josh Pratt’s back and Ash Smith’s back.
“So, it’s pretty much a fully-fit squad on Saturday. There’s going to be some tough decisions. We’ve probably got about 20 players to choose from.”
Elsewhere, Dorchester Sports Reserves collected an impressive 3-1 win at Westland Reserves in the Dorset Senior League.
Toby Kelly, Josh Leake and Charlie Pitt were all on target.
