DORCHESTER Town have completed the signing of frontman Luke Roberts from AFC Totton.
Roberts has positive history with current Magpies boss Tom Killick, having worked with the ex-Poole manager at the Dolphins from 2014 to 2019.
Roberts made 173 appearances and scored 52 goals for the Dolphins during his time at Tatnam Farm.
However, he missed the entirety of the 2017/18 season with a serious knee ligament injury sustained in a 1-1 pre-season draw at Weymouth.

Roberts then injured the same ligament in 2019, effectively bringing to an end his spell with Poole.
After almost four years out, he trained with Poole this summer before signing a deal at AFC Totton.
Killick, though, is a huge fan of the 30-year-old and in July labelled him ‘the best player that has played for Poole Town in the 20 years I've been here’.
In a club statement, Dorchester’s boss reiterated his thoughts on Roberts but stressed patience is required.
Killick said: "Luke Roberts is an amazingly talented player and probably the best I have ever managed!
"However, he has had terrible luck with injuries and been out for a very long time, so we will need to be patient with him as it will take time for him to be fully fit and then he will need more time to get match fit.
"If he gets back to his previous levels he will be a brilliant signing for the club but as I’ve said patience is key."
Roberts could make his Magpies debut at Harrow Borough on Saturday (3pm).
