BALTI SPORTS 1
HOLT UNITED 2
BALTI Sports exited the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance Senior Trophy to county champions Holt United with a 2-1 reverse at Cranford Avenue.
Holt made the perfect start, and Balti a nightmare start, when the Bulls scored inside 30 seconds.
Balti failed to defend a long ball, which was controlled and then offloaded by the target man into the path of Kyle John-Clement, who made no mistake for 1-0.
Holt dominated the majority of the first half without finding further joy, Balti defending well after their early setback.

However, the hosts were let down in similar circumstances to the opening goal as a free-kick pinged to the back post found John-Clement who again picked his spot with aplomb.
Emerging for the second half 2-0 down, Balti never gave up and halved their deficit on 75 minutes when Matty Chambers pounced on a parry from the Bulls’ keeper for 2-1.
But Holt extinguished hopes of a comeback by expertly managing the game from there on in, booking their place in the next round.
Balti go on to host Bridport Reserves in the Dorset Premier League on Saturday (2pm).
