DORCHESTER Town left-back Tiago Sa will temporarily leave the Magpies for an extended period to go travelling across South Asia, the club has confirmed.
Dorchester are hopeful of Sa’s return when he completes his Asian odyssey, stressing his exit is not permanent unlike the departure of Callum Buckley yesterday.
After originally making his debut on loan from near rivals Weymouth in September 2018, Sa then signed permanently in the following summer.
The full-back went on to score once in 125 appearances in black and white, becoming a mainstay in the Magpies’ number three shirt.

Speaking post-match after the win over Didcot Town, first-team coach Brian Churchill said: "What a servant he has been. The amount of appearances he's put in for Dorchester, and every performance has been a seven or eight out of 10 for us.
"We are sorry to see him go, but it's been a long time in the planning that he's off travelling around Asia.
"All the team and management want to dedicate that win to Tiago and wish him the best of luck on his travels."
Dorchester added: “Everyone at the club would like to thank Tiago for his service and efforts over the past five years, and we’re hopeful of his return when Tiago is back home next year. Safe travels, Tiago!”
Sa's exit means he will not be available for this evening's league clash at Plymouth Parkway (7.45pm).
