BRIDPORT are chasing the minimum of a point at Cullompton Rangers this evening (7.30pm), boss Chris Herbst has revealed.
Herbst’s side has five wins from their past eight games and this fixture marks one of four matches in hand on opponents directly around them.
And Herbst stated his realistic intention to keep the points tally moving as Bridport, in 13th, look to keep rising up the South West Peninsula League Premier East table.
Speaking pre-match, Herbst said: “Midweek, you never know what players they’re going to bring in.

“But the confidence is there, it’s brimming and we should get something.
“Hopefully we can get the win but I’d be happy with a point on the road. If you get points on the road and win your home games, you’ll be fine.
“I want the win and if we create enough chances I’ll be happy. They’ve won a few games and then they’ve lost some, so they’re there for the taking.”
Bridport's Malachi Stanners (groin) is a minor doubt.
