WEYMOUTH boss Bobby Wilkinson described the Terras’ 5-0 demolition of relegation rivals Concord Rangers as “the perfect away day”.
For the second time this season, Wilkinson’s men won 5-0 away to match the same scoreline at Tonbridge Angels in December.
Brad Ash’s flicked header opened the scoring before Harry Kyprianou pounced on a loose ball inside the area.
And Weymouth secured a staggering 4-0 half-time lead courtesy of Tom Blair’s crisp low drive and Ahkeem Rose’s header.

Ash then added a fifth on 50 minutes to notch his 16th goal of the season, while Concord missed two excellent chances for a late consolation on a horrendous afternoon on home turf.
While Wilkinson was understandably delighted, he remained level-headed with the Terras three points off safety in 22nd.
“It’s the perfect away day but it’s just three points,” he told Echosport.
“I’ve been saying it week in, week out. It’s all about consistency now. It can’t be one brilliant game and then not the next.
“We’re going to train harder this week and we’re going to try and compete against a fantastic side in Dartford, see if we can challenge them at home.
“They’re in a different league to us at the moment but could we do back-to-back wins?”
He added: “I expect to see it now, because we’re running out of time. Consistency is important, belief is important.
“Let’s not talk a good game, let’s do it. I expect us on and off the park to go forward as a group and challenge ourselves to be better.”
Wilkinson also spoke of his pride in Weymouth’s performance, with hard work paying off.
He said: “I’m quite cool, calm. It’s all about my staff, players and everyone at the football club.
“I’m so proud of everyone’s hard work this week. They keep that belief going, 14 games to go and we’ve still got a chance.
“It was a phenomenal performance but it’s just three points. You might be a bit shocked that I’m quite calm, but that’s all it was.
“We needed a victory because I want to stay in the mix. If we’d lost and a few teams around us had won, it could make it even more difficult.
“I did tell you 15 cup finals. Even though I don’t like saying that, we’ve given ourselves a chance with 14 to go now.
“We’ll move on and see what we can do against Dartford. If we beat Dartford, we beat Dartford. If we don’t, we don’t. We’ll just tick off the next one.”
Asked what had impressed him most about the win, Wilkinson replied: “I have to say it was an unbelievable team performance.
“We worked extremely hard on it this week and it’s all about my team, it’s not individuals.
“I’m trying to build a team and that takes time in football. Everyone was just phenomenal.”
Wilkinson made four changes to his side from the 3-1 loss to Farnborough.
Blair, Kyprianou, Ash and Xander McBurnie came into the team and the former Wealdstone manager was pleased his alterations worked.
He said: “It’s been one of those days where everything we touched came off.
“Some weeks it doesn’t but as long as you get it right most of the time you’ll be OK.
“Once again, I had the balance and shape and the bench, with two forwards, a centre-half and two midfielders.
“When you’ve got a good bench, you can make changes. It was good to have Tom back, everyone forgets on Tuesday we had no wingers. It does affect you.
“When you’ve got a full squad and everyone’s fit, you’ve got a chance.”
Weymouth host second-placed Dartford on Saturday (3pm).
