BALTI Sports’ boss Marco Nott admits his side are classed as “underdogs” against Blandford United for their re-arranged home Jewson Dorset Premier League fixture tomorrow (2pm).

Balti have endured a nightmare start to 2023, picking up just two points in five matches and conceding 17 goals in their past four games.

Nott’s men currently sit 12th, with Blandford eighth, but the Balti manager is seeking big improvements from his players ahead of facing the Royals.

He told Echosport: “We’re certainly underdogs. With form there’s probably not many worse than us at the moment.

“We know we’ve got to roll our sleeves up, start getting ourselves up the league. There’s points to be had, there’s still 14 games to go.

“Talk’s cheap really, we’ve got to start performing, stop blaming each other and do the job. I want to see regular players back and hopefully get into some kind of pattern with a consistent line-up.

“I’m sure the results will come.”

Danny Andrews, Scott Walker and Taylor Brown return but Matt Brisco (hamstring) and Oscar Preece are doubts.
