DORCHESTER Town are hoping to cause an upset against league leaders Weston-super-Mare tomorrow (3pm).
Glenn Howes’ Magpies visit the Optima Stadium on a run of four losses in five Pitching In Southern League Premier South games.
Their play-off charge has consequently taken a hit as the Avenue Stadium side lie nine points off the top five, occupying ninth place.
That compares to Weston’s outstanding form at the top, leading Truro by two points with two games in hand.
The Seagulls’ home form has been particularly impressive, gathering 11 wins from 13 matches.

And Dorchester first-team coach Brian Churchill knows the scale of the mission awaiting the Magpies.
He told Echosport: “It’s going to be a real difficult task. We’re always prepared to play teams at their best and that’s the challenge we face on Saturday.
“They’re setting the standards that we endeavour to achieve.”
Asked if the pressure is off Dorchester, Churchill replied: “Possibly. We’ve set our own standards, our target will be to remain in the top ten come the end of the season.
“Every point we get is vital, so we’re going to set up to try and get a result. It’s going to be extremely difficult.
“Tactics comes into it, attitude comes into it. For us to get a result, every player’s got to be an eight or nine out of ten and we’re looking for Weston to be at sixes and sevens.
“Everything’s got to go in our favour for us to get something.”
Discussing Dorchester’s away form, yielding just three wins from 14 games, Churchill said: “We’re well aware of our away form.
“If we had the same away form as we have at home, we’d certainly be up in the play-offs.
“It’s something we need to improve on but it’s not going to hinder how we set up to try and counter Weston’s superb home form.”
Charlie Gunson (hamstring) came through training this week but Matty Neale serves the second of a three-game suspension.
