DORCHESTER head into tomorrow’s fixture against seventh-placed Royal Wootton Bassett Seconds with some confidence and a superb team spirit.
Last time out, the county town outfit narrowly lost 38-27 to league leaders Wimborne in a fine game of expansive rugby.
This time, with a much-matured squad in terms of outlook and temperament, it should be a very competitive Counties One Tribute Southern South match to watch (2.30pm).
Josh Ovey still has a relatively settled squad and makes a couple of positional changes to his starting line-up along with some returning faces on the bench.

Brook Legg drops in at full-back with Kieran Fry moving into the centre, whilst Charlie Sharpe remains in the second row again this week with the evergreen Tom Gower continuing his run in the back row.
Scott Peach comes back into the line-up on the wing joining Cohen Emery to complete the back three.
The bench has the experienced Dave Cottell covering the front row with Jimmy Louch and Matt Fry both joining their respective brothers, Tom and Kieran, in the squad.
Ovey has Jack Adams continuing in the pivotal role of scrum-half, making sure Dorchester will look to open the game up and use its quick back line.
Alongside this, he knows his side have a solid set-piece at both scrum and line-out to secure possession.
If results go Dorchester’s way, they can potentially move up a place in the table, looking to finish in the top four with an eye on third place if they can put a strong run together in their final games of the campaign.
Both captain Steve Tucker and head coach Ovey praised the squad for their belief and performance last weekend.
They both referenced the high numbers at training and the one-squad mentality as a key factor in the team spirit and high level of intensity from all of the players.
In friendly action, Dorchester A face a side from North Dorset with their league campaign now finished, in preparation for its cup competition fixtures.
