TWO late tries catapulted Thomas Hardye School to a magnificent 34-31 victory over Reigate Grammar School and into the semi-finals of the Under-15 Schools Vase.
The Dorchester schoolboys are now just one win away from a memorable day in the final at Twickenham.
In front of a vociferous crowd at Reigate, Thomas Hardye were behind for large periods and had to battle back from a 31-22 deficit before stunning their hosts with two late tries.
Hardye’s Ned Cartwright crashed over for Hardye’s opening two scores but Reigate held a 19-17 advantage at the break.

Reigate then increased to nine points their lead despite an excellent try by Freddie Hicks.
With time running out, Hardye produced the goods as Liam Hornby executed a crucial interception try before Daniel Hill charged over for the winning score.
Hardye await their next opponents on semi-finals day at Aylesbury RFC on Sunday, March 5.
