WEYMOUTH boss Bobby Wilkinson insists the Terras “have given ourselves a chance” of Vanarama National League South survival.
Weymouth have picked up six points in their past three matches but did surrender a 1-0 half-time lead as Concord Rangers came back to win 2-1 on Tuesday.
Despite that mini setback, Weymouth lie two points away from safety and could even lift themselves out of the bottom four when they visit Hemel Hempstead Town tomorrow (3pm).
Typically, Wilkinson honed in on the positives going into their clash with the Tudors.
He told Echosport: “I just want consistency and to try and get three points.

“It’s not about a reaction, it was just a bad half of football. We spoke about it and we’ll keep believing.
“We’ve trained really well. We recovered them (Wednesday) and trained (yesterday). The boys are in good spirit.
“We picked up six out of nine points. I said if we’d lost and then won back-to-back we’d all be buzzing.
“That’s the way football is, it’s still six points out of nine. I’m only looking at all the positives and looking forward to a good game.”
He added: “We’ve had some great performances on the road so we have to go into it believing we can do another.
“We’re closer than where we were ten days ago. If you say to me in ten days’ time that we’re even closer or out of (the drop zone), I’d bite your right arm off.
“One thing I’m proud of about this group is that they’re giving us a chance. That’s all I can ask.”
Tom Bearwish and Ahkeem Rose sustained hamstring injuries against Concord but the duo look set to be fit to face Hemel.
Wilkinson said: “They’re both fit, so we’re OK. It was just a bit of tightness and a precaution with Tom.
“I could’ve taken off Rosey with 20 to go. He set up Tom to score, but then he missed. It’s ifs and buts, we’ll be all right.”
Harry Kyprianou (hamstring) has returned to training but is not match fit.
Teddy Howe (knee) is three weeks away, but Ben Thomson (ankle) and Keelan O’Connell (groin) require further treatment.
