BALTI SPORTS 1
HOLT UNITED 5
BALTI Sports fell to another heavy Jewson Dorset Premier League defeat as Holt United took a 5-1 victory at Weymouth College.
Balti were well in the game until collapsing midway through the second half to give the Bulls a flattering margin of victory.
Defeat leaves Marco Nott’s men in 12th of the 17 teams but the manner in which they fell to defeat may concern their manager more.
Balti went behind early on to Sam Herrington’s 25-yard free-kick but the hosts rallied before the break as Sean Zima and Taylor Brown were both denied.

Brown did get his goal after half-time, coolly finishing a one-on-one chance, before the incident that led to Balti’s capitulation.
Holt won a penalty when Aston Butcher conceded a foul in the box and Ali Garard stepped up to beat Dec Spearing in the Balti goal.
Balti’s level visibly dropped thereafter and Holt capitalised fully with goals for Corey Elwick, Emil Jakobsen and Chris Manners topping off a big win during the final 20 minutes.
Speaking to Echosport, Nott admitted the final quarter of the match had been “embarrassing”.
He said: “They were a good young side but it’s bitterly disappointing.
“It’s the same old every week, we’re conceding far too many goals. It’s ridiculously poor with four errors.
“We’re conceding three or four goals a game, which is crazy when you look at the line-up we have.
“It’s nothing to do with the line-up, it’s the attitude and desire.
“We got ourselves back in the game at 1-1 as well and then completely capitulated. We got rattled.
“We got into a stupid game of winding them up and took our eye off the ball. We’ve conceded some stupid goals at the end.
“Their heads dropped big time and it was embarrassing for the last half an hour. I’m not too pleased.”
Balti: Spearing, S Zima (Brisco 46), Butcher, Roberts, Allison (Jarvis 46), McClements, Nichols, Beals, Chambers, Drummond (Preece 65), Brown. Sub not used: Harvey
