WEYMOUTH boss Bobby Wilkinson has his sights set on collecting a hat-trick of “special” wins.
After beating both Hampton & Richmond and Dulwich Hamlet 2-1, Weymouth host Concord Rangers at the Bob Lucas Stadium this evening (7.45pm).
The Terras moved above 23rd-placed Concord into 22nd following their latest victory, although Wilkinson once more stuck to his mantra of “the next game”.
He therefore played down the significance of the clash, in which victory would push Weymouth four points above Rangers.
Speaking to Echosport, he said: “Wouldn’t it be special to get three on the bounce?

“I know extremely well how difficult this is going to be. A lot of our fans would expect us to be winning.
“This is the toughest one out of the three. They expect to win a home game against a team below.
“I go back four weeks ago when we played Cheshunt. Everyone expected us to beat them and look at the run they’ve gone on since.
“You’ve got to earn the right to win, there’s no easy game in this league.
“I’m pleased we’ve won two games back-to-back. If we can make it three, it will be special.”
He added: “It’s a big game on paper because of where we both are in the league, but it’s just about the next game.
“We need to keep the consistency going, keep believing in what we’re trying to build.
“There are going to be lots more lows and highs. At the moment we’re on a high. If we don’t win, it doesn’t mean we go on a low, it just means we need to pick up the next points.
“It won’t define our season, we won’t win the league or get relegated. It’s just three points up for grabs.”
Scott Rees (ribs) will travel to the game before Weymouth make a late call on his fitness, but Tom Blair (calf) and Ahkeem Rose (groin) are fully fit.
Keelan O’Connell (groin), Teddy Howe (knee), Ben Thomson (ankle) and Harry Kyprianou (hamstring) remain out.
Brendan Willson could make his second debut after signing on loan from Eastleigh for another month.
