DORCHESTER Town visit fellow Pitching In Southern League Premier South play-off contenders Tiverton Town in a crucial fixture tomorrow (3pm).
Glenn Howes’ Magpies are stationed in sixth on 40 points, eight places and eight points ahead of Tivvy, who have games in hand on four teams above them – including Dorchester.
Tiverton are one of only five teams to beat Dorchester at home this season but the Magpies will be hoping for a repeat of last season’s enthralling 3-2 victory at Ladysmead.
On that occasion, Alfie Stanley’s majestic hat-trick gave interim boss Brian Churchill a vital three points.

Speaking to Echosport, current first-team coach Churchill is relishing another imperative fixture on the road.
He said: “They lost at home (Tuesday) night and that didn’t help their cause, We’ve got to be wary that they’ll be looking to rectify that in front of their home fans.
“It’s up to us to keep ourselves in the hunt for that play-off place and get a win (at a ground) that holds good memories for myself last season.
“Looking back on the home game we thought we’d done more than enough to take the three points ourselves but we were on the end of a 2-1 defeat. That’s at the forefront of our memory.
“It’s always a feisty affair against Tiverton so I’m sure it will be no different.”
Reflecting on last year’s corresponding contest, Churchill said: “It was a great night all round.
“The nature of Alfie’s goals, I’m sure he still holds that close to his heart and, at a time when we were fighting relegation, those three points were massive for us.”
Alex Moyse came through Saturday’s 4-3 loss to Supermarine unscathed after an ankle injury, while Ferdinand Okoh is back in contention.
However, Harvey Bradbury begins a four-game suspension after collecting his second red card of the season.
