DORCHESTER Sports have signed Oli Lowes and Kriss Radivojsa ahead of their home clash with Blandford United at the Avenue Stadium tomorrow (2pm).
Lowes re-joins Sports after a trying spell at Portland United, starting just one of ten matches in 2022/23 after scoring five goals in 36 games last season.
Radivojsa, who skippered Bridport Reserves this season and was heavily involved with coaching at St Mary’s Field, links up with his hometown club.
His versatility at centre-back or up front provides Sports with options in their final 15 games of the Jewson Dorset Premier League season.

First assessing Radivojsa, Sports’ boss Ashley James told Echosport: “He plays up front for the 23s and plays in defence at Bridport.
“We’re not quite decided where we’re going to play Kriss. Obviously, without Alex Godfrey for the next two games we’re 50/50 on that one.
“But we’re really glad he’s come over and that he’s a versatile player. In squad terms that’s handy.
“He’s a nice lad, a good coach and knows all the team. He’ll bed in nice and quickly. Extra height as well from set-plays, it was a no-brainer.”
On Lowes, James added: “We’ve signed Oli on as well, so he’ll make his debut on Saturday.
“Oli came over to us from Dorch Town, he came to get some experience and he was brilliant for us when we had him in 2019.
“All the lads still know Oli and know what a brilliant footballer he is. He’ll bed in really quickly as well. It will give the whole squad a massive boost.”
With last week’s signing Owen Peart set to play too, third-placed Sports could field three debutants as they look to return to winning ways after a 4-3 loss to Holt.
James said: “We’ve got home games now against Blandford and Westland. We’ve got to get back to basics and stop conceding goals.
“Hopefully up the other end if we can still score two or three we’ll start picking up some wins.
“(Blandford) are a very good side, direct and strong. We’re playing the top four in a row, it’s going to be a tough period of games.
“We’ve got to win these home games and start enjoying it again.”
Ash Smith (work) is out and Alex Godfrey has a two-game suspension for his red card at Holt.
