WEYMOUTH midfielder Cam Murray is set to join Poole Town on loan for the second time this season.

Terras’ boss Bobby Wilkinson remains adamant that Murray is still in his plans, once again reiterating that player and manager came to a mutual agreement over his loan.

Murray played just twice in his first spell with the Dolphins and is keen for more 90-minute opportunities.

He will have to cement a place in a Poole starting XI flying high in fourth place in the Pitching In Southern League Premier South.

Explaining the switch for Murray, widely seen as Weymouth’s best player last season, Wilkinson told Echosport: “Cam will be going back to Poole for a month.

“When you speak to the player, we both discussed it together. He wants more minutes and I’ve not been giving him enough.

“He’s a wonderful player but at the moment my three main (midfielders) are Xander (McBurnie), Tom Bearwish and Scott Rees.

“Someone’s on the bench and then you’ve got Luke Nippard as well. It balances up the books.

“People have to understand I have to balance up books as well. If you’ve got him and Luke and another midfielder, it’s never as easy as people think.

“We need to make sure we stay under budget. We’ve got to loan players out.”
