WEYMOUTH have signed Yeovil Town winger Will Dawes on a month’s loan.
Dawes was purchased by the Glovers from Stratford Town for a fee understood to be in the region of £20,000 in the summer, before being loaned back to the Bards.
With Dawes having only played 13 times in total for Yeovil and Stratford this season, Weymouth have sensed an opportunity to bolster their attack.
Dawes, 22, provides competition for Tom Blair and Keelan O’Connell in wide areas.
Speaking to Echosport, Weymouth boss Bobby Wilkinson said: “Yeovil said we could have him for a month because he was at Stratford.

“They bought him and they loaned him back to Stratford.
“It could be cute but I want to put Keels and Tom Blair under pressure because they know they’re playing every week. That’s important.
“I’m still working on more hunger, desire into getting into the squad and then keeping your place.
“Because of where we are, we’ve got to keep them on their toes.
"If we were mid-table we wouldn’t let anyone out and in. We’d be building for next year.”
