CHICKERELL United Under-8s celebrated a successful first year with an enjoyable presentation night at Lakeside Bowling.
The youngsters were presented with their runners-up medals for coming second in their section of the Dorset Mini-soccer Under-8 League.
They also won the recent Chickerell tournament in style without conceding a goal throughout the competition.
Manager Colin Brumble also presented the Players' Player of the Year award to goalkeeper Thomas Free and the Supporters' Player of the Year trophy to Tyler Butcher.
He said: "All the players did themselves, their parents and the club proud this year. They improved throughout the season and we are now looking forward to another successful year at under-9s."
