BUGLERS 39

NEW BODY FITNESS 46

NEW Body returned to winning ways with an important 46-39 win over Buglers.

Consistent play from both teams made for a very tense game with each playing well and applying lots of pressure in defence.

There was accurate shooting at both ends, as well as some stunning intercepts. This close game made for a scrappy final quarter, with lots of turnovers.

Ultimately, it was New Body who composed themselves in final few minutes, managing to pull away and secure the win.

LULWORTH LIGHTNING 34

FIRST FIT WINDOWS 39

DESPITE only having five players, First Fit upset the odds to take a 39-34 win over Lulworth Lightning in Division One.

Their shooters Chantelle Mallock and Kathy Sims started the game well, working the ball in nicely to goal, while Lulworth C Kath Hernon worked hard to move the ball through court.

Despite Lulworth’s good use of the width of the court and accurate passing, First Fit’s impressive defence gained several rebounds, that their attack was then able to take advantage of.

This meant First Fit went into half-time two goals ahead.

In the second half, Lulworth tried to take control of game. However, they were unsuccessful and First Fit pulled off an incredibly impressive win.

DREAM DIGITAL 7

WARMER HOME IMPROVEMENTS B 43

WARMER Home Improvements B dominated throughout to beat Dream Digital 43-7.

Their WD Maisie Mussenaen initially got them started with some handy interceptions, as they then began to dominate possession.

Dream’s GK Jade Turner ensured however that it was not easy for Warmer’s shooters to capitalise.

Lucy Horton was brought on by Dream at quarter time and this proved a good tactical change as she picked up several rebounds.

Warmer continued to dominate throughout the second half and took a big win over a hardworking Dream.
