WEYMOUTH boss Bobby Wilkinson has confirmed the arrival of Matt Buse on a permanent basis.
Buse has 12 league appearances for National League North side Gloucester City under his belt this season, having been on trial with Yeovil in the summer.
Buse managed eight National League games for Weymouth before leaving at the end of last season, but the length of his deal is yet to be settled.
He was joined by fellow newcomer Michael Dome-Bemwin, signed on a month’s loan from Harrow Borough.

The duo allowed Weymouth’s thinly-spread resources to cover the vacant full-back positions in yesterday’s 0-0 draw with Cheshunt.
Scott Rees and Luke Nippard played left-back and right-back respectively, with Buse slotting into midfield alongside skipper Xander McBurnie.
Dome-Bemwin then replaced Buse for a fresh injection of energy in the second half.
Speaking about his new acquisitions, Wilkinson told uptheterras.co.uk: “They’ve done very well.
“It’s very difficult when they’ve only just come in this week. We’ve had to rush it in so we can make numbers on the bench, otherwise we wouldn’t have had numbers on the bench again.
“We had to put our goalkeeper (coach, Jason Matthews) back on the bench.
“People have got to realise we’ve got to rush things through and do things we might not have done at the start of the season.
“I like to have a settled 18-man squad but at the moment we’re bringing players in, taking loanees. That’s football. We’re trying every little thing we can.”
He added: “Matt’s here with us now, he’s come in from Gloucester. He can train during the day, which is brilliant for us. He’s another one that will stay here now.
“Mike went to Harrow so we’ve spoken to them, they’ve lent him to us. He’s trained with us this week, so he’s come in for a month to see how we get on.
“He needs to get fitness. What we’re doing now we’d normally do in pre-season.”
Wilkinson also revealed talks are officially under way to extend centre-back Brendan Willson’s loan from Eastleigh.
“Hopefully I’ll know about that (next) week. Pray they give him to us for another month,” he said.
“If they don’t that’s another defender gone. I can harp on about it, but when you really sit down and analyse what is going on, we are doing some miracle job.”
Willson is available for Tuesday’s Dorset Senior Cup clash with Hamworthy United but Wilkinson expects to know of his availability by Monday.
Weymouth have been in the market for defenders given injuries to Teddy Howe and Harry Kyprianou at full-back, plus the illness sweeping through Weymouth’s camp.
While Kyprianou was seen going through running work before the Cheshunt draw, Howe is a longer-term absence.
Wilkinson said: “We thought we had two defenders this week. We were close to two deals, both from a league above.
“It looked like it was happening and they both stalled. They’ve looked at it, maybe we’re bottom of the league and the travelling. That’s what we’re up against.
“If we were top, they’d be coming tomorrow. I’m pursuing both again next week, they’ve not been cancelled yet.
“They’ve just said they want to wait a bit longer. Then, I found out both of them didn’t play (yesterday).
“If I can’t get them two, I go back to the drawing board and try and get another two. It’s a lot of hard work.”
Lastly, Wilkinson confirmed that Rees went off injured with a calf problem with 20 minutes to go.
