PORTLAND have made several changes for tomorrow's tricky trip to Pimperne.

The islanders have not won on their travels for three years and after last week's disappointing 89-run home loss against Poole Town Seconds, they will no doubt be keen to end that jinx with an upturn in fortunes at Priory Field.

Sam Polley is back available while Adam Smart and Marco Nott have been called up from the seconds. Jan Davey will also play but Chris Skinner, Elliott Sawyer, Dave Price, Aaron Riley and Laurie West will all miss out. The latter is still struggling with a back injury.

Red Triangle are currently fourth-bottom in Dorset Funeral Plan Division Three, having only tasted victory once so far this season.

That success came against Suttoners Seconds, who lie two places below them.

Pimperne's fortunes have also been mixed.

They have won two out of their four matches and occupy sixth spot.

Both those victories came at home where they hold a 100 per cent record so far this term.

The first team to fall at Priory Lane was Blandford Seconds who were on the wrong end of a seven-wicket defeat.

That was then followed last week by an equally impressive six-wicket win against Bere Regis.

Portland: Hewson, Dixon, Neven, Barrett, Polley, Davey, Strong, Rathnayake, Laws, Smart, Nott.

* Portland Seconds will entertain Ferndown Seconds at Reforne in Division Seven.

The second-bottom islanders have lost all their matches so far and are in desperate need of a boost.

Ferndown currently sit one place above them, with one win to their name, which came at home against basement boys Parkstone.

Portland Seconds: Tombs, Lamming, S Males, D Males, M Males, Proffitt, Morris, Whisker, Locke, Samual, Suggs.
