FORMER Weymouth manager Mark Molesley has been axed by Aldershot Town just 13 months into the post.
Molesley and ex-Terras assistant Tom Prodomo were immediately shown the door after a 2-0 loss to National League South side Chelmsford City in the FA Cup.
Charlie Ruff and Henry Ochieng scored a goal in each half to condemn the former Weymouth duo to their fate.
It comes amid a poor start to the National League season, with Aldershot 22nd of the 24 teams and now winless in five matches in all competitions.

In a brief statement, the Shots said: "Aldershot Town Football Club can confirm that first-team manager Mark Molesley and assistant-manager Tom Prodomo have been relieved of their duties with immediate effect.
"Terry Brown will take temporary charge of first-team affairs whilst the club begin the search for a permanent successor.
"We would like to thank Mark and Tom for their hard work over the last year and wish them well for the future."
Molesley and Prodomo left Weymouth for Southend in 2020 after winning back-to-back promotions and the Southern League title.
However, they have now had two short-lived spells at Southend and Aldershot.
