BRIDPORT chairman Adrian Scadding has confirmed new boss Chris Herbst will lead the search for a new reserve-team boss.
Herbst vacated the reserves role by taking the first-team job last week.
He has been given the chance to appoint the second-string manager as Bridport look to maintain a strong link between the two sides.
Once Herbst makes his choice, Scadding will have the final say before the Bees rubber-stamp the appointment.
Scadding told Echosport: “Chris is looking around now. I really want Chris to appoint someone who he’ll get on well with, because they’ve got to work together.

“Chris is going to have a look round because he knows there’s a few people interested in the job.
“We’ll have to wait and see what he brings up.”
“(The teams) have just started training together again. Chris has got 50 players training and he’s picking both teams at the moment.”
