OLYMPIC gold medalist and club president Darren Campbell will kick off this weekend's Weymouth FC Youth Tournament at the Marsh.
The retired sprinter, who was part of the team that won the 4x100m relay in Athens in 2004, will offic-ially start the event tomorrow at 9am where he will be available to meet some of the teams and sign autographs.
Terras' community development officer Tim Davis said: "The under-16 boys will be playing tomorrow morning with the under-12s and under-15s in the afternoon. Then on Sunday we will have all the other age groups so it promises to be a very busy and enjoyable weekend.
"Overall there will be 117 teams taking part and Darren is delighted to be coming down for it.
"Unfortunately he can't make it on Sunday due to a prior engagement but he will be there tomorrow with his family."
