PORTLAND ABC's senior light-heavyweight Josh Ellis is certainly making a name for himself after a rousing win in Cornwall at the weekend.
After a hard-fought contest last weekend at the Clifton Hotel, Portland, Ellis did not waste any time in the West Country.
He travelled to Bodmin ABC for their show at the Lakefield Country Club and faced Truro's Craig Bracher.
Ellis, boxing a much taller opponent, started off slowly but near the end of the first round he unleashed a flurry of punches with a clever combination finishing off with a deadly left hook.
Bracher staggered back and suffered a nasty gash, forcing the referee to stop the bout.
Ellis has now fought six times this season, winning five, with his only loss being against the Royal Marines' senior novice light-heavyweight champion.
