MARK Vaughan came fourth in round two of the British SuperKart Masters Champion-ship.
The race was held at the all-new Anglesey Circuit in North Wales so all drivers faced somewhat of an unknown challenge.
The Weymouth karter rode well in the qualifying stages to set a time of 1min 9.08secs, placing him fourth out of 27 starters.
Vaughan made a fairly good start to the actual race but soon found himself two places down the grid, however, an attacking approach saw him make up the ground to slot into third place at the end of the first lap.
As much as he pushed for second Vaughan could not find a way past and was eventually overtaken to finish fourth at the chequered flag.
Vaughan, sponsored by Vaughan's Bistro Weymouth, Pro-clean and Demon Tweeks, will now look towards the UK Cup in Northern Ireland next month.
Meanwhile, Vaughan has been invited to race at Laguna Seca, California this October for the USA Superstars of SuperKart event and is looking for potential sponsors.
