NICK Crittenden has become the seventh player to leave the Terras as manager John Hollins shuffles his pack ahead of next season.
Club captain Simon Weatherstone, Stuart Douglas and Justyn Roberts were all released last week, joining Franklin Anzite and goalkeepers David Roberts and Jon Stewart out the Wessex Stadium door.
Crittenden's departure could yet be followed by that of experienced defender Trevor Challis while Paolo Vernazza and James Coutts are still to decide on their futures.
Hollins said: "Crittenden's gone for definite and I think Trevor has gone too, we made him an offer but I think he will go, Vernazza's still thinking about it though. James Coutts has been thinking about things too and is on holiday right now, but he will be back soon.
"But there are other people we are talking to, to get in to play for us, and there's a lot of people out there. We've got time but time goes quickly."
And any new faces Hollins is able to bring in must be fully committed to the cause.
He added: "If people want work then we can give them the opportunity to do so, but we want people who want to come here not those who see us a last resort."
Defender Kyle Critchell has another year to run on his contract so will be in Hollins' squad for the 2008/09 campaign.
