FORMER Dorchester Town loanee Harry Kite has sung the praises of “outstanding” teenage prodigy goalkeeper Harry Lee.
Lee, 17, is following in Kite’s footsteps by playing for the Magpies on loan from Exeter.
Aged 18 in the 2018/19 season, Kite enjoyed a season-long loan from the Grecians and has since gone on to become a key cog in Exeter’s first team.
The two players are good friends and Kite backed the shot-stopper to improve his game while with Dorchester.
He told Echosport: “I think he’s really enjoying his time there.
“Playing regular games is huge to be able to help you move on. It will do him the world of good.
“He’s very highly-rated, the way he’s come up through the academy. I only have positive things to say about him.
“He’s an outstanding keeper for his age. Playing regular games and football, he’s only going to get better.
“I see him having a bright future for himself, moving forward. He’s in the right place to be getting regular games and keeping improving alongside that.”
