ELEVEN top athletes from Weymouth and Portland will represent Great Britain as age-group triathletes in the World Triathlon Championships in Abu Dhabi this November.
Four women and seven men will compete for Great Britain in sprint and Olympic distances with two of the competitors, Linda Ashmore and Noel Stubbs, representing the 74-79 and 70-74 classes respectively.
All the athletes started their triathlon adventures with local triathlon club Bustinskin and six have already represented Great Britain across the globe in World and European Triathlon Championships.
Giles Heaman has been competing for eight years and was the European middle-distance champion in his age group three years ago. Heaman will also be competing at the World Ironman Championships in Kona later this year.

Kona is the ultimate event in the Ironman calendar with many professional and age group athletes dreaming of racing in this competition.
Ashmore will be joining Heaman on the starting line at this event, hoping to retain her World Championship title.
A seasoned and much decorated endurance athlete, Ashmore holds the record for swimming the channel for her age group and won the World Triathlon Championship in Montreal in her age group earlier this year.
Tom Carter, not pictured, has represented the Great Britain age group team at multiple races.
He won a bronze at the ETU long course championship in his home town of Weymouth and is the current British aquathlon champion in the 35-39 class.
Nigel 'Paddy' Jones has competed in World and European Championships in Valencia, Montreal and Munich.
Stubbs joined Paddy competing at both these events and Kate Baldwin-Jones, not pictured, competed at Montreal.
Lisa Worthington joined Paddy in Valencia last year for her first European Sprint Triathlon Championship.
For Matt Bacon, Francesca Alford, Martin Smith and Dale Wooley this will be the first time that they will have represented Great Britain as age-group triathletes.
All will be flying the British flag in Abu Dhabi, whilst Matt Bacon will compete in Bilbao.
