ALDERSHOT manager Mark Molesley revealed he had no hesitation in signing ex-Weymouth stars Josh McQuoid, Ollie Harfield and Tyler Cordner.
Following Weymouth’s relegation to the National League South, both Harfield and Cordner were free to speak to other clubs due to a clause in their contracts.
Meanwhile, skipper McQuoid was effectively a free agent after his deal expired.
Legendary former Weymouth gaffer and midfielder Molesley has worked closely with all three players in his managerial and coaching career, notably McQuoid and Harfield who were part of the squad that earned promotion to the National League in August 2020.

Cordner worked with then Cherries under-21s assistant Molesley while the centre-half was at Bournemouth throughout his youth career.
And Molesley admitted the trio’s familiarity with his methods made his quest to sign all three a no-brainer.
He told Echosport: “They’re players I’ve worked with before and have done really well for me.
“They’re players who know the demands of how we work and what we do and ones that are still very hungry to keep doing well in the game.
“That’s what we’ve signed first and foremost, great characters with great life experiences.
“I’ve enjoyed working with them and that’s why I wanted to get that relationship going again.”
