PRESTON have secured victory in the Weymouth & District League Division Two.
Preston's strong squad, made up of Eddie Chapman, Del Smith, Peter Stopforth and recent signing Paul Bohknecht, played consistently throughout the whole campaign.
Smith, a wily veteran of the Weymouth table tennis scene, only lost five matches.
His ability to take the ball early and deftly place the ball in awkward locations made his opponents rush their shots which ultimately gave Smith the opportunity to finish off a rally with a swift smash.

Meanwhile, Bohknecht's motto must be: 'Never say its over til it's over'.
Countless times he managed to win matches by 3-2 scorelines, the closest margin possible, and there must be many players wondering 'if only'.
Stopforth put in another steady display, always a tad livelier if he had not played 18 holes of golf earlier in the day.
Captain Chapman said: "It's been a really enjoyable season, meeting up with old friends, making new friends and playing competitively again in a wholesome way with a smile on our faces and many laughs."
